OBEDIENCE
A dog is not a robot, but an individual.  Every dog has a
particular personality with strengths and weaknesses.  The
goal of teaching obedience is to develop a communicating
and working relationship with your dog.

Because both the owner and the dog must learn, I prefer to
teach them separately.  This avoids confusion on the dog’s
part, maximizing the learning ability of the dog, and makes
learning easier for the owner.

Each family determines the level of obedience they are
comfortable with according to the amount and quality of
practice.
Education Options:
Board & Train – Your dog is immersed in
obedience and taught the basic
commands in my home.  This part of the
course is generally 2 weeks.  After the
dog’s learning is complete, the owner is
taught in a series of 3-4 lessons within a
6-week period.

Private Lessons – Reserved for special
needs such as aggression issues or health
concerns.  The price is quoted per hour,
but the lesson may not last a full hour.
When the lesson goal is met, the session
will end.

Advanced Training – Off leash training is
available based on basic obedience
proficiency.  All lessons are private
lessons.
Park Practice - Making
Obedience a habit under
high distraction.
